The Aviator was an excellent movie, like Faithy said, if you are into biographical movies. [glow=purple,2,9000000]If you're talking about the post above yours I'm not Faithy ... Faithy is ... well Faithy from the US and I am Frenchy Faith from France. Just thought I would explain about the confusion...
Glad to see you here Joey! [/glow]

Yep, what Frenchy said, lol. Gee why does everyone thing we are the same person? Lmao, I must spend A LOT of time talking to myself then, hhahahahahaha anyways movies lately, haven’t been so good, gosh. Of course it could just be who is renting them.. (aka not me) lol but A Beautiful Mind was really good. I see why it got those awards. I’m looking forward to the Aviator and The Grudge, I’ll post on those once I see them. I also am looking forward to the new Keanu Reeves film Constantine. It’s looks awesome! Also I am looking forward to then new Batman movie. The last movie I watched I really liked was the third Harry Potter movie Prisoner of Azkaban. I have the DVD. The extras are fun, and I think it was the bast HP movie so far, though I miss the old Dumbledore. He was classic and it’s sad he died.

[glow=navy,2,900000]I know the Oscars are coming but before that I wanted to talk a little about the Césars! They took place last night (Saturday) & there were some US stuff...
First, I was impressed by Will Smiths for coming to the ceremony, & speaking French... it was like wow, big surprise cause he wasn't bad really and he was funny. He got a special honorary César.
Then, let's talk about the best foreign movie : Lost in Translation by Sofia Coppola won the prize! It was a tough choice though : Foreign film nominations went to Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's "21 Grams," Walter SallesWalter Salles' "Motorcycle Diaries," Michel GondryMichel Gondry's "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," Michael MooreMichael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" Sofia CoppolaSofia Coppola's "Lost in Translation."
You can check it all there
I still haven't found an English site with the result though. Oh &I've heard "Les Choristes" (The Chorus) was only in about 50 theaters in there but it was still a gib success... like it was before in France & in Canada, so if you get a chance, just go & see it... I already said it but this movie is amazing! Anyone heard Beyonce singing the Chorus' song at a ceremony (maybe the Golden Globe?) cause I heard she did & I wonder what it was like.

Has anyone seen the movie “The Fairy Faith”? It’s a documentary of sorts about people from all over the world and how they believe in fairies, and the stories about fairies and little people, that all these countries have. It was pretty interesting I saw the last half of it on Showtime the other day. I just wondered if anyone else had seen it.

[glow=navy,2,900000]ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND
I so love this movie (thanky for the advise about it Faithy btw). That's just the most incredible plot ever... I want to meet the one who write the story... lol, & I so like Kate Winslet now... first in "Finding Neverland" she was great & now in this movie... Wow! That's just the perfect kind of life they had.. somehow, you know, with all the game & not going so much into the boring adult usually life... I mean, in the beginning because obviously then it dosn't work like that so much but hey they give it another try so... OMG I've just finished to watch it but I think I'm going to watch it once more right now... lol[/glow]

LOST IN TRANSLATION Lovely movie! Both actors can play! How Scarlett grew up since The Horse Whisperer! She was as great as in Girl with a Pearl Earring & Bill Murray, so sweet & funny! They both were very true... I found.

Mulholland Drive By David Lynch... an odd movie, just as I like them... except that I didn't like Dune but well it might be because I was something like 10 when I watched it. This one I liked a lot but I wouldn't know to say why, the whole flashback thing I liked.
La Cité de la Peur (the city of fear) That was just sooo French, lmao. Ok funny still, I wasn't laughing THAT much like some people do when watching this movie but yeah, it was gross & funny... I still prefer British humor like the Monty Python. lol
Finding Nemo Love this one, it's cute, sad, funny & moral at the same time... I'm fond of it & the voices in English are just soo pleasant to listen to.

This is the most honest and beautiful biography movie that could have been done about Ray. This is really a great thing that he didn't want to hide the bad sides in his life, & this is stunning to see how the songs popped up in his mind & what are the stories behind these songs. Jamie Foxx is really an amazing actor. Bloody dope too... Anyway I recommend the movie 200% ! [/color]

[glow=purple,2,900000]Alright, I won't say it... err, actually I wanna say it... I told you so! I forgive you the F word because the fairy is so cute... & you meant fabulously anyway, didn't you?
Next for you, Peter Pan.. when you've seen Finding Neverland Peter Pan don't seem as half good (yeah that's indeed me speaking ) but it's still an excellent movie !! See my reaction when i saw it the first time !!! he he he[/glow]

[glow=navy,2,900000]Being John Malkovich [/glow] Crazy, totally crazy, from the start to the end but gosh how I loved this movie! I think I seldom see a movie with such a script, I would love to meet Spike Jonze now! I recommend the movie to anyone who haven't seen it yet!
[glow=navy,2,900000]Robin Hood : Men in Tights [/glow] About as much hilarous as the Monthy Python though there are not so much blaming of the society here! But you're laughing during about 80% of the movie... maybe more actually. I guess birdy will agree with me on this point : great movie to watch when you want to laugh!
[glow=navy,2,900000]Pooh's Heffalump Movie [/glow] It has been such a long time since I had last watch a Pooh movie, this one was so cute & great... dealing with prejudices & difference, showing how people have wrong ideas made up in their head about different people...& all of this because of what their parents or society told them... anyway, very great movie !!! Plus Tigger was great in it!

[glow=purple,2,900000]Big Fish [/glow] This movie is filled with imagination & wonder, just like I like. I want a father like Edward Bloom... I loved this movie & I knew I would since my bro found it boring & since we almost never like the same kind of movie. I would advise it to people liking unusual movies & to people who like to use their imagination!

[glow=teal,2,900000]Million Dollar Baby[/glow] Honestly, I didn't understand half of the movie... what kind of accent is that? My gosh, it was terribly difficult to understand cause the sound quality was shit... but apart from that, I found the movie kinda neat & I liked how it dealt with the current topic of euthanasia. Plus, this girl's stubborness was just a neat example of what you can do in life when you really want sth.
[glow=teal,2,9000000]Bridget Jones' diary[/glow] Yeah ok, that's funny. I think that's not an amazing movie but it ok to watch when you are bored or when you wanna relax.
